From lunchtime discussions to lecture series and workshops, the Société de Lecture has
revived the grand tradition of the literary salon – a place where passionate amateurs come
together to discuss literature, history and current affairs

In this spirit, our rich and varied events programme offers members and guests a unique opportunity
to engage in conversation with prominent authors and thinkers from the worlds of politics, science,
literature and the arts, in the magnificent and inspiring setting of the Société de Lecture
