Prix Jan Michalski de littérature 2026 – Rencontre avec la lauréate ou le lauréat

Unique for its multicultural character, the JAN MICHALSKI LITERATURE PRIZE has been awarded annually since 2010 by the Jan Michalski Foundation to honor a work of world literature. Its rotating jury is composed of multilingual figures, chaired by Vera Michalski. Thus, in 2026, Jens Christian Grøndahl, Nicolas Grospierre, Karim Kattan, Patrícia Melo, Scholastique Mukasonga, and Ian Rankin will select a significant work of international literature from among their recent readings. Following in the footsteps of Mahmoud Dowlatabadi for The Colonel in 2012, Olga Tokarczuk for The Books of Jakob in 2018, Taina Tervonen for The Gravediggers in 2022, and Guadalupe Nettel for The Rare Bird in 2025, the next winner of the Jan Michalski Prize for Literature will have the privilege of meeting with the audience of the Reading Society.
