Salons for reading the press, quiet rooms for work and a space designed for young readers.

For your comfort

Time and space to read and work

Members can use a range of spaces across several floors, from conversation salons to silent work rooms.

  • Wi-Fi is available on every floor.
  • A photocopier is available at the office on the first floor.
  • Water, tea and coffee are available.
  • Mobile phones should be used discreetly.

Reading and conversation rooms

Swiss and international newspapers, current-affairs magazines, and political and cultural journals are available in comfortable salons. Computers and access to digital newspapers complement the print collection.

Third and fourth floors

Work rooms

Quiet desks are reserved for members in the fine arts, theology, geography and newspaper rooms, as well as in the attic.
