Here is an ode to friendship, intricately woven like lace, for the youngest children.
Like a meiga, the Galician witch, Casilda Regueiro tells stories from the mists of her magical homeland. Trained in singing, dance and theatre, she brings them to life through voice, movement and music, inviting audiences into worlds where anything can happen.
Over the years, she has performed more than two thousand shows around the world and led storytelling workshops in schools, theatres, prisons, churches and even caves. In 2009, she introduced bilingual storytelling to Switzerland, performing in Spanish, English and French. She later turned to musical storytelling, creating performances in which words and music intertwine. She has collaborated with the Lancy-Geneva Orchestra, the Terpsycordes Quartet and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
This charming tale is an ode to friendship, created especially for young children. We begin in a city that wakes up one morning to discover that all its machines have disappeared. Then it is off to the countryside, where a butterfly and an earthworm spring to life from our fingers. At the farm, we help a little chick find its mother, before heading to the seaside with a rather know-it-all crow who, as it turns out, has never even been to the beach…
