A fun get-together over pizza for intrepid readers ages 11 to 14!
The selection of novels invites participants to discover authors who write for young adults outside the mainstream. During the sessions, games and quizzes encourage club members to share their views, deepen their understanding of the texts and express their reactions and emotions. Everyone is invited to speak freely in a spirit of genuine exchange. More than simply sharing favourite books, participants are introduced to the art of discussing and debating ideas. More than a book club, it’s a real gathering of cheerful teens taking place at the Société de Lecture!
TYPHAINE MARC, a bookseller specializing in literature for nearly fifteen years, she recently trained to lead writing and “biblio-creativity” workshops with Régine Detambel, author of Lire pour relier (Actes Sud, 2023). She also organises literary gatherings and guided literary walks.
