A gourmet stroll through Geneva and the history of chocolate

Artisanal chocolate is in a league of its own compared to mass-produced chocolate, and Geneva is a paradise for master chocolatiers. So, to introduce you to the most famous ones, the Société de Lecture offers a gourmet walking tour tailor-made for you by ARIEL PIERRE HAEMMERLÉ, a renowned tour guide in Geneva and Carouge for over twenty years and a figure with radiant charisma. He knows the history of our city like the back of his hand and is the author of several books, including Le Vieux Carouge (Alma Lux, 2020), Geneva at Peace: 60 Quiet Places in Geneva (180° Éditions, 2011), Geneva and the Attempted Assassination of the Chancellor (Slatkine, 2017–19), and Geneva: The Most Important Dates in Its History (180° Éditions, 2023).
