Atelier d’écriture à Podere Trafonti – D’une voix, toutes les voix

FABRICE MELQUIOT is offering a writing workshop at Podere Trafonti (poderetrafonti.com) in Tuscany, in a setting conducive to concentration and creativity. The workshop will focus on writing monologues, striking a balance between poetry and theater, introspection and argumentation. Seated around a large table, you will write, read, and discuss works by Sarah Kane, Bernard-Marie Koltès, Stephen King, and others, engaging in shared, individual, or collective writing exercises in a spirit of curiosity, sensitivity, and high standards. Open to ten participants, whether beginners or experienced. Fabrice Melquiot is recognized as a leading figure in contemporary French theater, acclaimed for his ability to blend poetry, social commitment, and narrative inventiveness, as well as for his work with both young audiences and adult theatergoers. He has received numerous awards for his body of work: the Académie Française’s Grand Prix du Théâtre for his entire dramatic oeuvre (2008), the Paul-Gilson Grand Prize (radio), and the Grand Prize for Youth Drama for Les Séparables (Deutscher Kindertheaterpreis for the German version). In addition to theater, Fabrice Melquiot also publishes graphic novels, poetry collections, songs, and librettos. In 2024, he published his first novel, Écouter les sirènes, which garnered attention from critics and the literary press.

Cost: 1,391.00 EUR per person, based on shared double occupancy (single or double beds), including all meals and activities organized for the group. Single rooms are not available.
