 illiam A. Ewing is an author\, lecturer and curator of photography. Direct
 or of the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne from 1996 to 2010\, his many p
 ublications on photography include The Body ( 1994 )\, Civilization ( 2018
  ) and Flora Photographica ( 2022 ) with Danaé Panchaud\, published by Th
 ames &amp\; Hudson.\n\nElisa Rusca is an Art historian\, writer\, and cura
 tor currently director of exhibitions and collections at the International
  Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva. Her Alma Mater is Goldsmiths
 \, University of London. She is editor and contributor for the Italian pag
 es of Kunstbulletin.\n\nFrom one crisis to the next\, the images that make
  the news look the same. Yet the reality in the field is always more compl
 ex than its representation. How can we imagine a new form of humanitarian 
 photography? Human. Kind presents 30 photographers from around the world\,
  selected from the 3\,000 applicants to the PrixPictet since its creation 
 in 2008. Their works address major humanitarian issues\,but in different w
 ays. What these photographers have in common? The kindness oftheir perspec
 tive. The participants to this event will also be entitled to register a p
 rivate guided tour by William A. Ewing and Elisa Rusca on November 4 (10 a
 m -12 pm)\, limited number of participants.
